Assessments

Description/Purpose

An assessment is a way to check for a learner's understanding of material. There are four different types of assessments:

• Simple Multiple Choice
• Fill in the Code
• Free Response Question
• Code Challenge

You can embed assessments in articles. You can learn more about creating articles here.

Teams+ authors can create Simple Multiple Choice, Fill in the Code, and Free Response Questions. While it is not yet possible for Teams+ author to create Code Challenge Assessments, they can add existing ones into articles.

Creating An Assessment In Author

On the navigation panel in Author, select the plus sign to create a new item.

To create a Multiple Choice or Fill in the Code, select "Assessment" under "Practice Content" from the menu.

To create a Free Response question, select "Free Response Question" under "Other."
